The term duplex can be used to describe several different dwelling unit configurations. At Vipcon Homes we define a duplex house as a structure having apartments with separate entrances for dual families. This includes double storey houses having a complete dwelling on each floor and also side-by-side units on a single lot that share a common wall. By contrast, a building comprising two attached dwellings on two unique properties is typically considered a semi detached or twin home but may also be referred to as a Duplex.
Vipcon Homes is also a builder of Multi Unit dwellings that can comprise of about 12 or more Individual units on a single large block.
